The Met Gala is less than 24 hours away. Fashion’s biggest night officially known as the Costume Institute Benefit always brings together the world’s biggest fashion stars in their most forward fashion. Designers and their muses are all huddled at the Carlyle and The Mark Hotel to attend the party of the year. This year’s theme is “Sleeping Beauties: The Awakening Fashion” Inspired by JG Ballard's 1962 story, the theme hints at a runway filled with floral and botanical looks, symbolizing a growing concern for the conservation of natural resources and sustainable design. This direction, as suggested by Vogue, is expected to bring an array of environmentally conscious and creatively interpreted outfits to the red carpet.
